Path Notes

Section 1 – Gwbert:

The route of the coast path near Gwbert is currently subject to legal appeal proceedings and is unavailable. Use the alternative route following the road to Ferwig: see Maps 1.2 and 1.3.

Section 2 – Llangrannog to Cwmtydu:

There are no ‘exit points’ along the new section of coast path between the Urdd Centre and Cwmtydu (2.5 miles / 4 km): see Maps 3.1 and 3.2.

Section 3 – Ynyslas:

Network Rail is in the process of improving the footpath on the railway bridge crossing the Afon Leri at Ynyslas (SN 616929). The route is therefore currently closed. Use an alternative route along the road from Borth to Ynyslas or, if the tide permits, the beach: see Maps 7.2 and 7.3.

Path signposting:

There are still some a number of path signs to be erected along the route of the coast path. This outstanding work will be completed as soon as possible.
